Hajiji heads Sabah Delegation at 2026 Madani Government Retreat

KUALA LUMPUR: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor led the Sabah delegation to the two-day 2026 Madani Government Retreat held at the EPF Learning Centre in Bangi, Selangor, beginning Saturday (Jan 11).

Accompanying him were Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam, Finance Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, and Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Ariffin Arif.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor with his counterparts greeting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim upon his arrival at the retreat at the EPF Learning Campus Bangi, Selangor.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim delivered the keynote address on the first day of the retreat. On the second day, Hajiji presented a discussion paper highlighting key public interest issues from Sabah’s perspective.

Also in attendance were Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Amar Fadillah Yusuf, along with Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh, Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg, and Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amiruddin Shari (Selangor), Dato’ Sri DiRaja Haji Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail (Pahang), Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi (Johor), and Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad (Perak), as well as members of the Federal Cabinet.
